OUR MANAGEMENT
DR. LASZLO GRAND, HEAD OF R&D
Dr. Laszlo Grand earned his MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and PhD in Neuroscience from the Pazmany Peter Catholic University in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Besides his leading position at Nevrotech, he is a Research Officer in the Next Generation Neural Interfaces (NGNI) Lab of Imperial College London and an adjunct Assistant Professor of the Neurology and Neurosurgery Department of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
He has developed various multichannel arrays and neural probes for neurophysiological recording and stimulation, and methods for co-registering neurophysiological and behavioral data continuously 24/7. These have been published in scientific journals focusing on neuroscience, neurology, neurotechnology and sensor development. With his work in neuroscience he has contributed to the advancement of the epilepsy, traumatic brain injury and iPSC derived neural networks fields. Besides research in neural interfacing technology, he is devoted to large dataset analysis and visualization.
ANDRAS BENCSIK, HEAD OF SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As Head of Sales and Business Development Andras is responsible for our sales and marketing strategy, including partnership and distributor relations. He has earned his skills through various international banking positions converted into successful ventures of his own. He is also the primary contact for investor relations.
Andras holds a Master’s degree in Economics, a Master’s degree in International Management (CEMS MIM) and passed all levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examinations.
